Damiane Fire Gunslinger Build — One-Shot Bosses with Charged Shots
Damiane's Elemental Charged Shot + Focused Shot stack with Volcanic Eruption and Flames of Judgment Abyss Gear to one-shot bosses.

Quick overview
- Damiane unlocks early in Chapter 3. She's optional for most main story but mandatory for certain faction bosses.
- Her Fire Gunslinger build is the highest single-target burst spec in the game — capable of literally one-shotting tier-1 bosses.
- Damiane shares Kliff's stat investment but has her OWN skill tree and her OWN Abyss Cores. Plan her budget separately.
- Don't pour Abyss Artifacts into Damiane until Kliff's main loadout is comfortable — typically Chapter 5+.
- This build is glass-cannon by design. Range and timing keep you alive, not damage reduction.
Weapons & Abyss Gear — Volcanic Eruption + Flames of Judgment
- Primary weapon: any tactical bow OR rifle/musket. Both scale with the same Damiane skill tree.
- Cornerstone Abyss Gear #1: Volcanic Eruption — adds AoE fire damage on Charged Shot impact.
- Cornerstone Abyss Gear #2: Flames of Judgment — boosts elemental damage by a multiplicative %.
- Stack the two pieces and a single Charged Shot can hit for 4-6× the damage of a basic shot.
- Both gears unlock from Witches after Chapter 5 — bring 200+ silver per witch visit.
Skill priority — Elemental + Focused Shot
- Step 1: max Damiane's Elemental Charged Shot. This is the build's nuke button.
- Step 2: max Focused Shot — pierces armor and chains with Charged Shot for the burst window.
- Step 3: 5+ in Stamina (Charged shots are stamina-hungry) and 5+ in Spirit for ability spam.
- Step 4: pick up Damiane's evade and reload buffs to keep uptime high between charges.
- Don't bother with melee skills on Damiane — she's a pure ranged glass cannon by design.
Rotation — the one-shot loop
- Open from max range. Boss can't close before your first shot.
- Cast Focused Shot to apply armor pierce.
- Charge Elemental Charged Shot to full — wait for the visual cue (full red glow on the barrel).
- Release. Volcanic Eruption fires AoE on impact, Flames of Judgment multiplies the elemental tick.
- Backstep, dodge any boss telegraph, repeat. Most tier-1 bosses die in 2-3 charged cycles.
- If a boss closes the gap: pop a stamina food, dodge-roll twice, reset to max range.
When NOT to use Damiane
- Mob clears with 5+ enemies — Charged Shot is single-target, you'll get swarmed before the second charge.
- Tight indoor arenas — no max-range opening, boss closes instantly.
- Bosses with high fire resistance (some Crimson Desert region encounters) — switch to lightning or non-elemental Damiane.
- Story missions where Kliff is forced — Damiane is locked in some main story bosses.
- Early game (Chapter 1-4): Volcanic Eruption + Flames of Judgment are gated behind witches (Chapter 5+).
