Walkthrough

1. 1Obtain the Engraved Key by completing the True Wisdom in Kindness quest first
2. 2Head to the main hallway on the ground floor of Hernand Castle, near the northeastern door
3. 3Use the Engraved Key to open the northeastern door and locate the alchemist's chamber
4. 4Enter the Abyss Gate that emerges on the chamber wall
5. 5Solve the Polar Opposites puzzle: rotate the right disk 3 times clockwise using Axiom Force
6. 6Cross the skybridge and use Axiom Force on the alignment device until it glows blue
7. 7Proceed through the opened passages to collect the Abyss Artifact reward

Tips

• The Polar Opposites puzzle requires precise alignment — listen for audio cues when the disk glows
• Use Axiom Force on the metal disks embedded in the floor to rotate the energy pipes
• If you turn the alignment device too far, it will spin forever — stop when you hear the confirmation sound
• The Abyss Artifact unlocked here is essential for character progression and weapon upgrades
• You can attempt this puzzle multiple times without penalty if you fail
