Walkthrough

1. 1Ascend the mountain path toward Silverwolf Mountain
2. 2Defeat enemies and approach the locked gate
3. 3Use Nature's Grasp to lift the gate barrier
4. 4Follow the linear path deeper into the castle
5. 5Watch the cutscene with your allies Oongka and Yann
6. 6Climb the ladder in front of you to start the Myurdin boss encounter
7. 7Phase 1: Focus on parrying attacks — watch for his 3-hit sweep, dodge the unparryable 3rd hit
8. 8Phase 1: Punish when he plants his weapon in the ground (2-second window)
9. 9Phase 2: Myurdin transforms into Lava Myurdin with fire-based attacks
10. 10Phase 2: Dodge lava projectiles in wide arcs rather than blocking
11. 11Stay near the center arena to avoid being knocked into lava edges (instant kill)
12. 12Defeat Myurdin completely to finish the quest

Tips

• Bring Chewy Rice Cakes (purchased from Ronnie at Greymane Camp) for healing during the fight
• Keep a Palmar Pill for Phase 2 emergency revival at 30% health
• In Phase 1, the 3rd hit of his sweep has a red glint and cannot be parried — dodge it
• Build Spirit with Focus attacks to activate Blinding Flash Finisher for massive damage
• In Phase 2, the lava arena edges are instant kills if you fall in
• Dodge lava projectiles with wide sprints, don't rely on blocking
• Phase 2 is harder — be patient and wait for openings between his flurry attacks
• Force Palm stagger attacks work if you can't maintain Blinding Flash combo
