Firefly

An insect with small, delicate wings and can emit light from a luminous organ at the end of its body. The light is used for mating signals or communication, and its flickering glow in the dark night sky is truly captivating. It is most active in damp grass, along riverbanks, and at the edges of forests. As a larva, it preys on small insects and snails.
